Army of trees

Escaping a renagade trucker, I stopped right next to this stand of precisely planted trees - about a thousand of them - in perfect straight rows.... Nothing else in this field, except these trees... I seen them lots of times passing at 75, but never up close like this...

Thanks Josh - I did a little processing using some of the Topaz software.. Used a couple of their presets and made some adjustments to those.. No HDR, as no tripod at the time..

For the first one my eye struggles with having two focal points (the tree, front left and the lead in to the back of the photo).

Number two is better in that respect but if you had taken half a step to the right you would have got more symmetry on your lead in line.


That said, it's a beautiful location and they're both well captured shots.

I like the effect on the first one. It almost looks like the tree's are swaying in the wind. Is that why it's a bit off center? Nice capture on both of these.
