Went up Arthur's Seat with some friends recently under a lovely sunset. These were all hand-held as it was more of a social trip than a photography experience.

I can only assume you're talking about the watermark?

You assume correctly - it's presence in the first two images really ruins both of them IMO. It really does look like a large billboard. If you really want to watermark your images, then perhaps something smaller, more subtle and of rather less opacitiy?

I'll give it a lower opacity and maybe make it 66% of the size to see how it looks then. Although I think because it's white against black it comes out harsher than in most pictures.
