Ashlynn got a new haircut!

Hi All,

I had a mini-shoot in our backyard of my 6 year old to celebrate her new short haircut. She is in love with it and so is her mom (no more pony tails). Anyways, these were shot with my Sigma 1.4 on a D7000 using a sb600 off camera on a 60" umbrella. Please forgive the busy backgrounds and burn grass but I would like any and all CC on lighting and composition. Of note: she picked all her poses

I like 1, best lighting and nice pose, but the green in the front is a bit distracting

Thanks for the comment. I agree with the green being a distraction. Just wanted to give a sense of depth by having something in the foreground out of focus. Here's a quick crop i did on my phone. Let me know if this works better.

I like her yoga pose....third is as good as a child tries to give a nice pose.
