Assistantship

Hey guys, I am looking for an assistantship in the NYC/NJ area. I have a good understanding of photography and portraiture, and have been doing it out of my house for years. (Studio in my house, I have a portfolio) Now, I'm wanting to learn the business side of things. I'm willing to work hard and am wanting so much to learn. I just can't seem to find anyone that is willing to take me in. Anyone know where I can find an assistantship? Thanks for the help!!

Join some photography clubs and associations around your area. Get to know the photographers and then talk to them about letting you work with them.
