A [SIZE=-1]Todd McFarlane Spawn figure, I have loads of them.
Thought it would be a nice item to practice with my lights.
Shot at ISO100, 125/f11.
50mm 1.8 prime lens.
Single Bowen Gemini II 500 with reflector umbrella.
I guess I'm looking for tips on where I could improve and overall thoughts. Do you think the highlights are too much? Should I have gone for a soft box and diffused the light to be softer?
I used a single flash unit set at 75% which was about 25° [/SIZE][SIZE=-1]to the right of my camera. It was slightly aiming down at the figure, but not too much else his hat would have shadowed his face.
Post-processing work was:
Resized.
Bordered.
Logo added.
Cloned out the highlights from the stand which kept him balanced.
Thats it.
