Hello!
I think i posted one of these already but in a color form, i like them much better has black and white. I got through about half the pile of logs before i decided to take a break and take some pictures, in a few i focus on the scars left by the axe blade into the wood. I find wood texture to be one of my favorite looking things on this fair earth. I waited for an early afternoon sun to cast the high shadows, was an overcast day. Comments and criticisms are always welcome, just give these photos a chance!
This photo is the one where i focus on the damage the axe caused (before its inevitable parting of the two halves ) I'm a big fan of the shadow casted by the axe blade, i think it gives great depth.
This is focused on the back tip of the axe blade.
