Nice; the first one is a little dark overall, the second one is a classic scene; a couple of suggestions: Straighten your horizon or crop it out, and when you're using a linear subject, (the line of foot prints) generally, it's best to try and have it guiding the eye toward the centre of the image. In this case you sort of come in and go out the lower third without really noticing the top.
