B/W or Color? CC pls.

Can you please CC my photo. I am not sure which looks better B/W or color?

Here are my settings: SS1/125, F4.0, ISO 125

I like the first one better. The second one seems to have to much highlights in the jacket and find it distracting.

I actually prefer the look of the black and white. If you could back the contrast off on the coat to bring back the lost highlights some it would help, but I like the overall higher contrast look in the B&W.

I actually think both versions are fine, but I agree that the mono version as shown is too contrasty. If you dial back the contrast on his jacket a lot, and on his face slightly, and perhaps reduce the brightness just a little, you'll have a nice mono conversion.
