I just absolutely love shooting babies (WHOA - that sounds terrible) I love photographing babies! Here's Cooper! 1. I cropped his fingers on this one I wasn't prepared for this shot, but when he yawned, I just quickly grabbed it! 2. 3. 4. 5. I did a mild art brush filter on this one . . . does it work? 6. 7. 8. I know, I knicked his fingers here too. No excuse for that one
My favorite one is probably the second photo. I love his expression in the fourth one I have a three month old and I absolutely love photographing him.
The lighting is perfect, the baby is gorgeous. With each of the ones of him laying on the black drape, I was wishing you had tugged it down and away from his face, just a little bit, that tiny bump of black obscures his face a little much for me. I found the exact same thing when photographing my own baby a few months ago - that pulling the drape down made a big difference. I hope that makes sense the way I described it. On 6 I'd crop some of the black from behind his head - LOVE that smile! Same with 1 and 4 - it serves no purpose. 2 is executed perfectly - bravo. Very nice job overall.
