Back again-- 2015 is my year to use my camera!

Well I have been coming and going with this forum for a while. This is the year I learn to use my Canon 7D- I took this last night..

How can I post a picture? It's telling my file is too small..

If you are using the site (not an app) then when you make a post there is an upload option directly under the box you type your text into. You can use that to upload a JPG file from your computer. Once the file shows as uploaded there will be an option next to it to post as a full image or thumbnail, I usually select full image and it will add the photo to your post. I usually don't compress the image or use "save for web" unless I plan on uploading 5 or more photos to a post (which is rare, most on here prefer 3 or less as it makes it much easier for them to critique the photos).

It is also possible to post from another site such as flickr or FB but I have never had any luck getting that to work (it will post the actual photo, not just a link to it). I'm sure someone else will chime in with more help.
