Wow, these images are great. I need to go out and practice. Wonderful work.

awsome series, hey your american coot's look similar to ours but im sure ours arn't so plump....also looks like he's borrowed someones feet!.... they look huge on him! Great work, love the red head too

I'm back to my initial impression on seeing your (and Airic's and Chiller's) bird images ... gonna throw away my camera gear and move to a convent in Lichtenstein. Pity.

Thanks all!

Antarctican >> don't give up bud, I was doing all the drooling last winter,.. I am sure all the threads/posts are still in here. I worked my but off learning this last 8 months, and I still have a long way to go.

A good lens is the first ticket though, mine is ok, but the real thing is outta my budget!

nice captures ray, love the red head duck

Thanks JTH

If the 80-400 ED VR is just ok, I got to know what the "real thing" is ?

Well Bill, one lens I wouldn't kick out of my bag would be the Nikon 200-400 VR S Lens.. listing in Canada for 7,200$$

There are others, but it would kill me to research them!
