...in a cemetery. So glad spring is back.

I got there early, and loved the way the sun caught the scripture on this monument. I had to dig out the lensbaby for this one. I added a midnight sepia filter to give it some umph.

I have walked passed this crypt many times. I have always been amazed at how they cemented this guy in for good, put a big fancy arse gate on it, but some how nature has the power to break in.

The fallen stone is Patricias Momma. Even in death the child out lasted the family.

One of the coolest crypts. The Massey grave

(I actually hit a cem today too, out by Aylmer! Haven't seen the pics yet. Not that they'll be anywhere in the same league as these). I like 'em all. Very cool pov/effect on the first.

Thank you so much for the comments. Much appreciated.
Anty...hope you post some of your shots. Would love to see them.

Isn't that they way it's supposed to be?

Great shots again. My favorite is #2, but only by a slim margin.

Amazing shots man, I really like what you did with all of them.

The second one is breathtaking - love the lighting on it.

Is this the huge cemetary in Toronto? My friend lived right behind the Timothy Eaton mausoleum - used to play ball hockey on the side of it.

Yeah, great shots. I absolutely love #2 even with that shadow.

Thanks again for your kind words. Really appreciate it.

Hannable...this is St James cemetery in Toronto. If you ever make it to these parts, I can zip you there, and my other hang outs. :D
The one with the Eaton crypt is Mount Pleasant. Im banned from there...sort of.

Thank you for your comments. Appreciate it.

If "my" TPF meet-up weren't so imminent, I'd go on a trip to my favourite cemetery again any time soon now, but even though I meanwhile have quite a nice collection of cemetery photos, mine all seem to be a bit more "brightside" than yours. How can that be, I wonder? No matter how much I try, I never seem to get the "darkside" aspect right. Though I must say: I find these more "brightside" overall, too, than "darkside". Or is ANY cemetery photography "darkside" in and by itself?
