What a nasty day today. cold and rainy, so I just setup my tripod on my screened in porch and waited

thanks to the better beamer, I was able to get a few decent photos, a little fill light really helps on those rainy days.

Great shots! The first two look like Goldfinches. Here's a Ruby-Crowned Kinglet (note the different beak and legs). Do you live in one of the Carolinas by chance? We have countless Carolina Chickadees and Tufted Titmice around our house. Cardinals and Carolina Wrens are plentiful too.

Image 5 of yours is a Brown-headed Nuthatch.

Here's a shot of a male Goldfinch (non-breeding color pattern) I took over the weekend. He's back-lit a bit too much as the sun had just come out after the rain finally stopped, but I still love the shot.

yeah your right the kinglets are smaller, i have them too thats why i got confused.
