I always dig your ornithological images...what kind of lenses are you using for this kind of stuff? I'd really like to get some super tele setup in the future since my 70-200+1.7x isn't as long as I'd like at times.

Thanks for the comments....using a Nikon D300 camera with a Nikon 500mm F4 lens with a 1.4x tc.

nice. how do you like to 500 f4 overall? I want something along those lines some day, I've been really wanting a 400 f2.8 recently, but it'll probably be a few years before I can afford something like that.

Awesome lens.......had a 400 2.8 before but sold it for the 500mm.......best choice I ever made!
