Barbed wire...

Found this old fencepost with a bit of barbed wire. Had a little play around on the old photo editing software, darkened it, and got this. I think it turned out quite well! Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Hmm.. I like it and the idea... I wonder if it would have looked better at an angle or somehow put the barb less in the center of the photo.

I think a bit of a crop to move the "knot" a bit out of the centre of the frame would help this a lot. Other than that it shows a good eye!
I don't see that much of landscape or nature in this one, though, so I think I'll move it over to the General Gallery, ok?

Oh, and may I ask WHAT all you did in PS and maybe even what the original looked like?
For your treatment seems to be some great enhancement to the photo.

Ah thanks for moving this ... well I don't actually have photoshop( ). Was just using Paint Shop Pro, maybe you're familiar with it?

I simply decreased the brightness, and decreased the midtones in Histogram adjustment.

This is the original photo, but it is very ordinary in my opinion...
