Bartlett Lake at Night

First time sharing... go easy on me. Camped at a lake in Arizona with a friend in March.

What were your settings and such?

Too bad about the bright light, at the horizon, on the right--is that a nearby city? Our biggest enemy in nightscapes!

Looked like a nice place to camp-out.

I used a Nikon D90 with a Tokina 11-16mm at 30 secs shutter speed at f/2.8 and ISO 3200.

Yeah, the bright lights are light pollution from Phoenix, Arizona. It was definitely visible when camping out; it made it interesting because one side of the sky was completely dark but the other was partially lit by the noise pollution. Personally I do like how it appears that the Milky Way is emerging from the light pollution.
