Awesomes shot, but you either over sharpened it, or adjusted your masking is not precise, because I can see major halos around the left most column.

actually Matt, i didn't mask at all and just sharpened a bit. could it be i used a flash in conjunction with existing light to help with the closest column and the b&w conversion caused it?
