What do y'all think? Photography wise.....

I know it's a boring subject... but I was just going for composition and light metering this time... What should I do to make it better?

I sort of like it, but since you asked what to add, I think some sort of shadow would be neat on the background, maybe shadow of the ball, or even a persons arm like they're going up for the shot. I like this contrast in this one alot, and how the goal is pretty worn.

I happen to really like this shot. I don't think it's boring at all. You did a great job with the composition, and the rest of the image is about texture - the worn, faded backstop and the crisp lines of the net. It's really good. I like that there is no action here; it's almost a still life.
