batch upload for signature on pictures

I'm just beginning to start taking people's pictures as a side business...but when I post my pictures for viewing- I'd like to have some sort of signature on them so that they are not duplicated. Does anyone have any recommendations? What do you use?

what do you use to post the photos online? if you use lightroom, or a similar application you can have them watermark your photos. or In photoshop you can create an action that puts your name on the photos, and also creates a border on them, and then just run that action on all the photos?

If you can afford photoshop CS3, I would highly recommend that. True, many less expensive programs can do watermarking, but if you get CS3 you'll be able to do it all. And if you hope to sell your photos, it is probably worth having a copy of photoshop lying around.

I'm assuming/ hoping you have PS so what you do is you make a new layer into your designed watermark. Usually your name, company, or don't copy and then you can convert it into an action. Now when you open your new picture, use the action and you'll have your watermark.
