Cameras on a mobile phone have come a long way now, some are great and some not. Hope you can get a nice mobile and I look forward to seeing your photos.

@develop . Looks like the Google pixel, and Samsung S9 have great cameras in them. I have a couple buddies with them and they're pretty impressive.

Beautiful photographs are more about photographer skill and knowledge than the camera used to make the photographs.

The newer cell phone cameras have better performance, but the newer cell phones cost more. A Samsung S9 is $720 USD from Samsung.
A Samsung Galaxy Sky should be in your price range of $200.
Then get the free app Open Camera because Open Camera offers more control of the phone's camera.

Yup. Also one thing that should be considered is the editing software available on the phone. There is far more photo software available on the iPhone.

To get beautiful pictures you must buy the most beautiful phone possible.

I don't know about the Samsung, but the Google and the iPhone are very close. Almost indistinguishable. I think the Pixel does better creating depth of field, but they are really close.
