Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I really do appreciate everyone's help I receive on this forum! I do take it all in and this morning the little one and I got up early and went to practice some flash photography. You guys were so right! I underexposed a little bit and used the flash as a bit of fill. The colors are so much better, rich and vibrant. If anyone has seen my previous stuff I feel this is a huge step up C&C always welcome. We started out at the park but that did not last long before little one crashed. I am also trying harder to just do nice clean edits and ditch the excessive photoshop!

Anyone??? Haha

Much better work. On number three, I'd put a small s curve in it and it will work a bit better. ;-)

skin tones are bit bright in 2 for my liking. could just be me though.

Congratulations... Flash is nice, as long as it is not overdone... like anything else. Looks good!

I do agree with Pally.. #2 is too bright....

Thank you.......It is a whole new world I had to do a lot of tweaking with settings until I got where I wanted it. How do you guys work quickly when using this method because I was definitely chimping.....A LOT!

Lots of practice! Or a flash meter... that helps too

Since I've started using a flash meter, my shots improved and my head doesn't hurt from having to guess. ;-)

Agree with the others, lots of practice. After I purchased a light meter, things became much simpler, but it is not required if you're on a tight budget or are unsure how far you want to take flash photography.

Don't make the mistake that I have seen all too often on TPF, making humans suffer through your practice periods. Rather, be alone with your thoughts, a pen and notebook, a purpose for the practice session and an inanimate object, doesn't matter what, and run your settings through the mill (camera and flash). Bear in mind that objects with a reflective surface will cause you more angst and frustration in the beginning. Those objects should come further down the road.

Fuzzy teddy bears or other toys make great practice subjects.. they seldom complain. Fruit is also good.... If it complains, you can eat it! lol!

Right now the flash stays on the camera I will be learning that for a while I am afraid then I will try some off camera work
