Love the comps, the tonal combinations, and the exposures are spot on. It would be nice to see a bit more contrast to get those colors to pop, but it's nice as is too because it's kind of moody for the storm brewing. Also, the lower shot....which I love the birds perched and the ocean spray....looks like it could use a slight CW tilt.

Ocean shots like this are neat because of the individual swirls that the bubbles in the waves make. You captured the sand and blue of the deeper water really well.

Many thanks for the comments.... I played with the contrast some but I wanted to retain the detail in the white?

I haven't physically tried on your image, but did you try selective contrast (layer masks)? Regardless, excellent captures.
