Beginner - flower shots, need advice

wow. Amazing I especially like 3 and 4 with the way you captured the water is that water? yeah its water is it? Anyways, maybe a bigger depth of field in the second to last one if you'd gotten the whole branch it would've been better, the 2nd is just a little too blue for me but like I said all very very good

just a tip from what other people have told me. try to narrow down how many you put up in one thread. You'll get better CC with 2-4 pics then with a ton. Also number then it'll be easier for reference for folks to cc. I'm a noobie too I just had other people who've been on this forum tell me this

thanks for the tips. It makes good sense to number the pics for reference and will do that from now on.

4 and 5 are indeed water drops, 5 is taken with a Canon EF-S 60mm lens and I was surprised at how much detail I could get on the little water droplets attached to the leaf hairs.

I guess I was greedy and wanted to post a big batch for starters

First I would keep your shots down to 2 or 3 a thread.....=) You will get more helpful comments that way.

I also have the 60mm EF-S lens and I absolutely love it for macro shots. The focus is a bit slow at times but the image quality is great.

I love the shots 4 and 6.

I absolutely love #7. The colors are so vibrant.

Love 7,8, and 15! #1 is too dark for my taste, and #2 is slightly bland to me.

I gotta admit. I was expecting the usual "beginner" shots but yours were a pleasant surprise. 4, 5 and 6 are really great.

Well done, but as others said, limit your threads to two or three images.
