Beginner from NY

I've been lurking for a while now, and finally wanted to say hi. I'm a beginner hobbyist, currently on the Sony Alpha platform, and planning on switching to Canon this month when I pick up an EOS 7D for Christmas. I've learned so much from you guys already. Can't wait to learn more.
