This photo was taken yesterday as a late Father's Day present for my wife's father. It was also my first attempt at using multiple flash lighting. I was using two flashes. The flash on the camera's right was an SB-800 shot into an umbrella. The other light was up and to the camera's right. It was an SB-600 shot through a translucent umbrella. Any critiques on the light would be greatly appreciated!
Hmmm...I'm no expert but the lighting looks good to me...natural.. the colours are a little washed out....although I still think it will be a shot that is treasured in years to come! Here's to hoping that once this thread is bumped that someone who knows lighting will add their critque for you.
Thanks for the comment, Mindii. The original is actually a little more saturated than what I posted. I actually desaturated a little bit to even out the skin tones of the subjects. I think I'm going to try to print this one at regular saturation as well.
