Best Macro lens for my D50?

Could a generous soul give me an idea of the type of macro lens I could buy (my first lens ever) for my Nikon D50 and ballpark ideas on pricing?

For under 200$ should I go for a used lens?

im getting a macro lens soon for my nikon d50 and people have reccomended to me the sigma 105mm macro, i dont have it but i will be buying it soon

anyone else have feedback on this lens?

Is that Canadian dollars? I love my 60mm Nikkor but it it is about $375US.

Check out a Nikkor 28-105 AF with Nikon closeup attachment also. The results are quite good and on a D50 it makes an awesome lightweight combo anyway.
