Best place to buy cameras and lenses in Australia

I'd found the best prices for my fz7 online at various, + Ebay links, local Domayne then took off another 10%, no postage, insure, etc

I am not sure if you were taking the piss or not but that was probably the most unhelpful thing I have ever read on here.

In other words because of the local prices your best bet is to shop online. There are some reputable yet clearly grey market vendors on Ebay to be found. I do most of my purchases on there until I need something with a very good warrenty like a Camera body or an expensive lens, in which case Photo continental is our local reasonably competitive shop.

Just be careful Nikon do not honour international warranties.

I too am faced with the same issue. I also have an FZ7. Few good packages around on Ebay. NOt much risk with lenses and filters in my opinion.

I'm in Brisbane, and I shop at Photo Continental. They're a bit expensive for some things - like anything hardware. I buy all of that stuff off ebay.

But for processing and film I use them.

But that doesn't really help you unfortunately because you're in Melbourne?
