Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hello all,
I will be be a 2nd shooter for a smaller wedding soon and I currently have the 35mm 1.8 and 85mm 1.8 prime lens. I have 2 others (Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 and the Kit lens 18-55 3.5-5.6)
I am wanting to know if what I have would suffice as a 2nd shooter for the ceremony part of if another lens would be beneficial?

Thanks!

When I second shot I had a similar setup. I used an 85 for 90% of my shots and a 50 for the rest. The primary had a 135 that was super nice to work with as well.

You didn't mention what camera / sensor size.
And 85 is essentially a 135 on a crop frame.

So depending on your camera, you either already have what runnah suggests, or not, for example.
I'm guessing its crop frame since you mention a 18-55 kit lens, but maybe not. Also runnah doesn't mention format, are you talking about DX / FX runnah that you were shooting when you got your 90% of photos on the 85mm?

a 70-200 f2.8 is really handy for weddings. A good motor is essential as well. If you have high ISO capabilities then its pretty easy. I would think you probably do not since most of your gear is basic beginner stuff.

My bad. FX format.

The person to ask would be the person who's the primary. Regardless of what anyone here says, it's his (or her) opinion which is the one that matters...
