Best UltraCompact DigiCam

OK, I don't know if it is taboo to talk about small cameras (ie. arent SLR) on this forum, but here goes.

Can some one recommend an UltraCompact (must be really small) that can accompany me and my DSLR?

I thought about the EX Z750 but apparently its Macro mode only allows for 10cm - not too good! (but it DOES have the ability to have 60 sec. shutters!)

There are so many different digi-cams, it's hard to keep up on what's good and what's not.

There are plenty of magazines that review all sorts of digicams on a regular basis. www.dpreview.com has the specs for most digital cameras.

As always, the best thing to do, is to find a shop that has lots of cameras and see which one feels the best to you, and has the features that you want.
