BH has refurbished lens

I was looking at getting a 24-105 and they have a refurbished one for sale. I can save $300. are they as good as new??

has anyone used them?? I appreciate your thoughts.

I would never hesitate to purchase anything from BH, whether it was new, used, or refurbished. Every transaction I have had with them has been a pleasure.

A pretty high percentage of "refurbished" camera and photo gear is simply returned merchandise that the big box retailers have channeled back to Canon and Nikon. In many cases the items are basically 'new'.
