One horsepower is faaaaaaaaast!

Well soo much for digital still imagery !
Nicely done.

Thanks guys/gals!!

Kick-A$$ job on the horse-drawn carriage and the small taxi cab!!!!!

Love the taxi. You really isolated it with the panning and got it ALONE. I don't know how you did that in NYC.

I think #2 would look cooler with more people movement.

Thanks everybody for the comments!

settings?

Sorry I missed your post. I will have to get back to you. I am at work replying from my Droid2. I think f18-22, 1/20-1/40, iso 200.

Great pics I'm hoping to go to NYC soon and attempt some shots like this

if not for the horse I would have believed these were photographs and not photoshop edits (Y)

I am confused not after looking over them again...
are they real pans or photoshop?
you done a great job eitherway!

Wow thanks!!! They are all actual photographs. I only did minor global editing in LR3. The motion blur is actual not edited in. The subway and the Port Transit Authority lobby photos are on a tripod with a +4 ND filter with exposure times between 5-10 seconds. The horse carriage in central park and the taxi are hand held with no filter. The horse carriage and taxi were both moving relatively slow (5 mph?). I used my D5000 with 18-55 kit lens with VR off on all of these photos.
