Today's bird captures from Sam Smith park in Toronto. It was my first time there and saw many different species of birds but as always it was challenging to get the shots I wanted. I didn't come out empty handed though :)

These Comorants were quite a ways out and could only get these shots which were heavily cropped. I must've waited almost an hour for them to get closer but to no avail....oh well next time.

Bird photography can be a challenge. They always are so far away, skittish, in the shade, and many of them are dark in color against a bright sky.

You did a very nice job here.

The first cormorant picture is amazing. Whenever I see this pre-historic looking birds they are generally perched up high snoozing. Great photos.

nice ones Joat, I like that shot of those Cormorants!

Yes, I do too!
The action you managed to capture was worth the wait, I say, even though they did not come any closer in all of that one whole hour that you waited. In the end you got this action!!! And it seems like despite the crop, you still get quite clear photos from your lens. Very nice!
