My first attempt at bird photography, found it quite challenging but hope to improve.

Have other photos but can't seem to get them uploaded at the moment - will try later.

nice first attempt but it's a shame you have the blades of grass and the main subject is out of focus, but you have caught some really vibrant colours

I love the colours.good focusing through the grass.keep at it...i think you've got a way with the birds

Cheers for the comments guys - yeah I found it a bit hard focusing through the grass quickly before they moved. Keen to have another guy next time I am out that way though. Here is another one I took the next day on Chrissy... not sure what to do about shooting into the overcast sky though :S.
