Biz Registration process

Hi All....I posted this I think in the wrong section, so I'll re-post it here (just in case)

Did any of you hire a company to do all the legal papers to start your biz for you (ie create your company for you), or did you do it all yourself?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!!

Hello and welcome to TPF! When we started up we met with an accountant but filed the paperwork ourselves. Best of luck with your new business.

After much debate with my husband....I think we've decided to go with a company. UGH. I hate it, but if it gets it all done....well, that's all that matters I suppose.

Depends on the structure of your business. Sole Prop - DIY. Partnership, Corp or LLC - I'd use an attorney.
