Agreed. As well, try and find a calmer, less cluttered background against which to shoot.

As a tag-along, you are picking up reflections of the wood grain from the table top as well as the surround area. Find a solid colored base to place them on. A light tent comes to mind for this type of subject.

Really liking the low light! I think the last one is my favorite. On your second shot, try rotating the candle holder slightly to block a little more of the flame.
