Black, White and blue...

...berries, that is!

This shot was very experimental, and I am pretty new to photography, especially black and white, but I think it turned out to be an interesting shot. C&C appreciated!

Did you manipulate the photo in PS after you took it because it looks like some of the berries might be embossed (the have a distracting white outline on some of them). It's an interesting photo but the grain and the outlines are frankly a little distracting....

I did indeed manipulate it, but it was only adjustments such as levels, contrast, saturation, etc... The outline is just a result of that manipulation for whatever reason. I think the grain is largely unavoidable, unfortunately, as this was shot with my old (quite a few years old) P&S camera. Thanks though!

Its very atmospheric and interesting to look at but somethings just not quite right with it.Not sure what it is but then again Im no expert.
