How can they be slim one minute -
My shape the next
Then slim again.
Bloomin' cold out there and it puffed up its feathers as soon as it settled.
I have never seen as many in the garden as the last few days - they must have known it was the RSPB Great garden watch.
I counted 13 of these at one time from my view of the garden and knew there were more round the corner feeding on the patio. A good few disputes, but not as many as expected. Normally a couple of pairs are about and strict demarkation lines if there are any visitors.
