Blue Heron

In continuing with summer in March. This Blue Heron landed on a neighbours dock. Even a tripod in a boat can't steady much.

Herons are beautiful birds, aren't they?
And I just love the colour surrounding this impressive bird! Green! Ah! And so lush and rich. Where did you find this green in March? In Canada? It's March here now - and everything's white...

Very nice and lush. Has me dreaming of summer again. LaFoto, there is no where in Ontario that is this lush this time of year, maybe British Columbia but not in central or Eastern Canada.

There is something about the big birds that really attracts me. Nice shot. I am also ready for the gray to go away. This whole weekend has been overcast and rainy.

There is a type of Heron I believe, but not the Great Blue Heron.
