The blue paradise flycatcher (Terpsiphone cyanescens) is a species of bird in the Monarchidae family. It is endemic to the Philippines.

It is mainly found in the understory of lowland primary and secondary forests, however populations are likely to be declining owing to habitat loss.

Personally, I wouldn't have cropped it so much. I think SOME cropping of the original would help, but I'd just crop to just a bit right of where that one little stick is coming up off the branch, and then maybe just a little off the top and bottom.
 
Beautiful capture of a stunning bird. I like the composition of the original but as Sharon said you might want to tighten it just a little.
