Blues in Black and White

Is your lens dirty? I'm seeing them white squiggles on just about every pic. Perhaps try cloning them out.
I love blues and i love b&w and they look great together. #1s my fav.
They seem a bit grainy, almost like they were scanned. Were they?
I know when I scan blacks they always turn out less than satisfactory.

Good pics though. They got the blues feel to them for sure.

Good pics though. They got the blues feel to them for sure.

They were shot at 3200 on Ilford hp5 400 film, yes, they're grainy.
They were also printed on color paper thru a machine.
My lens is immaculately clean - could be in the processing or printing phase

I think it's the scanning that shows the flaws of dust or hair on the image itself.

Pretty cool shots though.
