I'm with Gizmo here, I also like the POV. Interesting to see this from above - adds a graphic element to the scene that would not have been there otherwise. Light was your friend, as well, giving the water a nice texture and "painting the boats with stronger strokes", as it were. In other words: that light created some nice contrasts.

I do not like too much the composition, I find that the 2 boats on the top and bottom croped make the composition not very efficient.
