Bottle Cap

I was just fooling with off camera lighting and came up with this shot of a bottle cap on a counter. Let me know what you think?

the blacks are WAY to black. i like the center of the cap but the edges are way to dark.

Now that you guys have said it I agree with the blacks being too black

I think this would maybe have had more impact done in color -- but then, this is the black & white board isn't it......:er:

I agree with their comments, the edges are way too black which makes the picture a bit dull but the background is okay as well as the center of the cap. You can try enhancing the color of the edges by using the brightness/contrast section of the Adobe Photoshop. Good Luck!
