I would love some critique on these two pictures. I've struggled with underexposing, how is the exposure? Also, I was playing around adding texture, what do you think of that?

To me, the faces appear to be at least 2/3 stop over-exposed, and the backgrounds in both, while well OoF, are still very distracting.
