There is no really strong subject, maybe if the shot was framed so there was more of an angle between the bridge and canal, that may give you stronger lines crossing the frame

My first impression with this one is that a more "living" sky (distinguishable clouds) would have helped this image a lot. The one tall tree alone cannot fill the "void" that this bland sky creates in the upper half of the picture.
