brilliant, vibrant eyes.

I am not sure what you can and can't do in Lightroom but some good things to do for eyes ( some have been mentioned already )

1 ) sharpen just the Iris/pupil.

2) Use curves to lighten

3) desaturate the whites of the eyes to remove any red veins or anything. ( you will still be able to see the marks when zoomed in but they will lose color. )

4) Use a radial gradiant, white to transparents over each Iris/pupil and change layer to overlay. ( This is one of the quickest and easiest in photoshop if you just want to lighten the eyes just a dad. You can adjust layer opacity to tweak it a little.

You guys are amazing! I'm a beginner so I love LR2 because its simple for me and does some little tweaks. I will probably get more involved with photoshop in the future. I found that Coffeeshop site and did the Eyepop tutorial. Amazing! I couldn't figure out on my own how to do it and now I know. That is exactly what I was trying to achieve, a way to lighten, brighten and pop eyes in my photos! So thank you!!
