Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Brooke goes to my churchy. SHe has been going now for 10 years and she is finally graduating high school. They grow up so fast!
She had her senior PHOTO done (you know the free one with the black drape that you just HAVE to take for your yearbook) this past summer so she was excited to finally get some real photos for her senior year.
Her and her parents love them so much they can't decide which to choose RIGHT NOW for the invitations for the graduation cards.
I have to RE-upload my photoshop again so I didn't do a lot of PP to these.

Wow, there are a lot of shots to comment on! Considering there's very little PP work done to them, they're all really nice. Here are some of my thoughts...

#1: Excellent pose and DOF. You might try lightening her face a little.
#2: Seems a little soft and I'm not sure the effects work very well.
#3: Interesting background, but way too much contrast and the sky is totally blown.
#4: Nice pose! One of my favorites.
#5 & 6: Nice candids, but seem a little too much like snapshots.
#7: Nice lighting and excellent pose. The background is a little busy but a nice shot!
#8: Her shirt and arms are blown and the outfit isn't very flattering to her.
#9: Nice shot, but watch the shirt and arms.
#10 & 11: Both are nicely done.
#12: Nice pose, but the shirt doesn't seem to fit her body.
#14: Interesting pose and very natural expressions.

I like most of the shots here. With some more PP work, these have excellent potential.

Watch the feet. They are cut off in almost every shot.

I don't know what brown action you are using, but it's way over the top. Does it have a layer mask?

1st off cindy...there are ONLY three photos where her feet are cut off.
and then 2nd...learn to read...i never said i was using photoshop...my photoshop wasn't working and it was a sepia action on the other editor i was using.

Five by my count.

Pretty girl and you have some nice shots. I'm sure once you complete your editing, the final results will be more pleasing.

Wow, you're not taking criticism all that well, are you?

I really like No.8 but I'm not a fan of the brown either and I don't really care for the 'crotch shots' like Number 11 and 14

Glad her and the parents liked them, good job!

She never takes criticism well... which is too bad because her PHOTOS SUCK.

I reallythink alot of these could use a good bit more color. I think you may have overdone the desaturation.

You've got some nice shots. But, I think that overall, the processing is detracting from the photos rather than helping them.

Jeez Louise girl! You get so mad. When someone takes time out to reply on a post of yours it's not meant to hurt your feeling most of the time, it's to help make you more aware next time. Chopping limbs and appendages is a real no no that's all and you did that in a lot of these.
"Learn to read" ??? What's reading got to do with anything? You said you used another editing program - photogshop is not the only editing program with layering masks. SHe never said anything about photoshop.

Also I imagine you shot these in possibly full sun because you've ended up with darkness under her eyes in almost all of them and the 'adolf hitler moustache shadow' under her nose like in numbers 10 and 12 to name a few. Invest in a reflector for those types of sessions. It will help.

the program i was using didnt have any thing like photoshop (layers, masking, etc)

also, i am sorry for my tone...cindy and i were not getting along that day and i took the whole thing out on the thread on her and i apologize to everyone else...not her but everyone else

i will try to keep my issues "at the door" next time

LA i suggest you leave this thread alone... you are just trying to provoke an arguement.
