I was looking at flashes for my T3, I cant afford a Canon Speedlight right now but there are a number of inexpensive options available for under $100. I want one that swivels up and down. Is there a budget friendly flash that is worth having?

Full manual operation. No TTL. Bargan basement El Cheapo flash unit.

It does have 2 off camera slave modes. S1 mode is used when the camera bulit-in/hot shoe flash unit won't be firing any pre-flashes. S2 mode is used so the light won't trigger on a pre-flash from the camera.

I seriously doubt the unit has an actual GN of 33 at 100 ISO. I'd bet it's closer to a GN of 25 or less.
