Butterfly on the Flower

So I've posted this on a few sites since I'm trying to get feedback on process, figuring out what to do, and such. I haven't posted this one here yet. I started photography in about September and this was one of the earlier pictures I took, so I've learned more about that aspect... I hope. this is one of the first 6 images that I've really ever done editing on. I just started that recently too and am still working on better software.

Harsh critique is welcome as I know there's a lot of areas this could improve: that's why I've been posting it in more than one place

Things I know: The butterfly's color is a bit oversaturated and has too many hotspots.

Second one is better to me at least but seems a bit washed out
