Hi if you are looking at the 7d or the 60d try looking at the 70d
I use all three and for me the 70d is the best and the 60d as a back up but this is mainly because I use sd cards as a norm

OK.. I have played with a 5D, 7d, 70D, (that I currently own and a 1Ds).
The 7D is closer to the 1Ds than any of the APS cameras.

If you decide on specific lenses, as a previous poster stated, go with the EF lenses and stay with them. The EF-S are nice and work well with the APS cameras but if you move up, they are a no no on a full frame.

As per another poster:
The FF also means more image area and more detail overall especially when converting to Jpeg and enlarging.
I ran into this the other day and had to remind myself why I stick with the FF.

simply put, superior detail.
the newer cameras allow for a very close approximate to Portra film, and certain lenses allow some serious rich depth overall.

My wife has a 60d which is a good starter camera. We both have a 7d mkiv and we both have a 5dmkii. I use a Sigma 150 to 600 sports lens and my wife uses a Canon 100 to 400 lens. We both use the stock lens for each camera. I like shooting with both3the 7d and the 5d. Sometimes I will have both of them around my neck. My next camera will be the 1d in a few years.
