Buying leads

Is anyone else out there buying leads for weddings? I have just started trying a couple of different sites that a friend of mine uses. I haven't heard anything back but I just bought the leads this morning. Anyone else do this?

I've used Eventective.com but it hasn't worked out for me yet. I send emails to people asking for more info about what they're looking for and never hear back.
